Here is a photo of a Sword named "Grayswandir". The blade is D-2 tool steel, all other sword and scabbard furniture is stainless steel. The handle is wrapped in twisted stainless steel wire. The scabbard is covered in black leather. The 26 inch blade is about .200 inch thick. The weight is about 2 pounds. This uses the modified Japanese tang style construction, steel toggle and pommel screw. It is signed and numbered on the long tang to preserve purity of form.
