Mistborn Set #1 - Two Coins of The Final Empire

Two Coins of the Lord Ruler

A set of two coins from the Final Empire. These coins were made at some point during the Lord Ruler’s 1000 year reign, but it is unclear exactly when.

Includes:

Final Empire Copper Clip

Clips are small copper coins used by nobles for the purchase of small items. The obverse features an image of the Lord Ruler surrounded by the words “One Clip” inscribed in the Steel Alphabet. On the reverse is the symbol for copper surrounded by the Steel Alphabet number 1.

Final Empire Golden Boxing

Boxings are the large denomination coins of The Final Empire. They would be used for business transactions between noble families and the government Cantons.

The coin obverse has an image of Kredik Shaw, the Lord Ruler’s palace. The text surrounding the palace reads “One Imperial” inscribed in the Steel Alphabet. The reverse has the symbol of the Kredik Shaw, as shown on official maps of the Final Empire.

The word “Boxing” is a slang term, referring to the “box” of the palace depicted on the coin.

The coins in this set from the world of Brandon Sanderson are struck from solid copper and brass, measure 2 to 3 cm in diameter, and weigh 2.7 to 15.5 grams. Coin artwork by Isaac Stewart, Ben McSweeney and Woody Maringer.

The set contains coins treated to look as if they have been handled and circulated within their world. This process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science. Coloring and patinas will vary. No two sets are exactly the same! Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. A colorful description is included with history and facts about the coin.

Great quality!

I picked up a set of coins for myself and another set a few weeks later for my dad. Not to spoil anything, but I was really wowed by the attention to detail and care put into these coins from the packaging to the coins themselves. These would be a great add to anyone's collection or would make a wonderful gift. My set is displayed proudly on my desk! I'll be sure to recommend Shire Post in the future.

Great quality product and experience!

It is not just the coins. There is a whole lot of detail added that makes this coin set a great gift! Coins are individually packaged with a wax like seal that gives them an extra touch of "authenticity". The description of the coins is very detailed and also included. The Mistborn fan in my household went crazy happy with this set.
