Rivendell™ Golden Moon
A Golden Moon of Rivendell
This unique Elvish coin from Rivendell, or Imladris in Sindarin, is shaped like a crescent moon. It depicts the Rivendell valley, flanked by waterfalls, containing the ancient trees of silver and gold and the three Silmarils, represented as stars. The text in Tengwar translates from Sindarin to "Elrond Peredhil, Lord of Rivendell, The Last Homely House East of the Sea" and includes the date, TA 2941, the year that Thorin and Company meet Elrond at Rivendell before continuing on to The Lonely Mountain.
This Rivendell™ Golden Moon from the world of J. R. R. Tolkien is struck from solid Brass, measures 3.17 cm in diameter, and weighs about 6.3 grams.
Coin artwork by Dylan Craig, engraved by Woody Maringer.
Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. A colorful description is included with history, translations, and facts about the coins.

A birthday gift for my son, who loved it.
I don’t think I have ever had a single disappointment from this company. If I had it’s just a wish for more amazing coins and stamps from these beloved universes
High quality, great detail, have loved everything I have gotten from the Shire Post Mint.
Love this coin very much. I'm not sure if it's a Noldorin canath or the mirian but whatever it is quite beautiful. I'm very taken with the design of the Two Trees of Valinor and the three Silmarils. I will be ordering more from Shire Post in the future!
This coin has a very interesting design. A nice addition to my collection!
