Memento Mori Silver Coin - Memento Vivere Reminder Token
There is a long history of Memento Mori reminders, including coins. We have added our own spin on the concept and included a new reverse side, “Memento Vivere” which translates to “remember that you have to live.” We believe there is a beautiful balance between accepting mortality and embracing life.
Memento mori (Latin: "Remember that you have to die.") is the medieval Latin Christian theory and practice of reflection on mortality. Especially as a means of considering the vanity of earthly life and the transient nature of all earthly goods and pursuits.
Memento vivere (Latin: "Remember you have to live.") Know that your time is short in the grand scheme of things. So have fun while you are here.

These coins have quickly become my go to gift, to remind people "to Live". With so many people around me dying in the pandemic, these have been a crowd favorite at the funeral homes, wakes, funerals I attend! 10/10 would buy again, although I wish I didn't need to. :(
I love this coin so much I ordered a second in case I lose the first. I'm indecisive at times, & I'm keeping this in my wallet for those coin-toss moments. Awesome design & detail on both sides, & I love the shape.
I remembered from the Vatican museum that centuries ago priests, Domincans in particular, used to add additional charms to their rosaries with one of the most common being a momento mori.
As I happen to have a Dominican priest for a friend, I got him this coin which made him incredibly happy. Though now he has to figure out a way to attach it. Thank you for a special gift.
It's exactly what i expected and way more. The coin itself looks incredible and the packaging is pretty awesome.
This made a wonderful gift to the silver enthusiast in my family
