Hyperborean Set of Eight Gaming Coins
Beyond the North Wind
Hyperborea is a vast northern kingdom locked in perpetual winter and ruled by an order of witches and wizards known as the White Hand. This gaming set includes three larger brass 5p coins and five smaller copper 1p coins from Hyperborea. Both feature a helmet Hyperborean and a Hand on the reverse. Text is Bulgarian inscribed in the Glagolitic alphabet.
The coins in this set from the world of Robert E. Howard are struck from solid brass and copper, measure 2 to 2.6 cm in diameter, and weigh 2.7 to 5.8 grams. Coin artwork by Woody Maringer.
The set contains coins treated to look as if they have been handled and circulated within their world. This process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science. Coloring and patinas will vary. No two sets are exactly the same! Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. A colorful description is included with history and facts about the coins.
Note—Each order comes packed with a handwritten envelope straight from Shire Post Mint. We will make this out to whomever is on the SHIPPING ADDRESS. If you are giving this as a gift and would like a different name on the envelope, please include the recipient's name in the Special Instructions field as you complete your order.

Bought a few sets of these to use as Bennies/Fate Tokens for Players in my DnD style game and they are perfect! The style of this coin has the exact look and feel that I was searching every corner of the internet for. Ended up buying more because I like them so much, really helps with immersion into the world.
Also, a huge fan of Conan so it's a little bonus for me to know that these are from that universe.
Crom, I have never written you a review before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember what coins we purchased. Why we bought, or what we buy. All that matters is that we were delivered a fine, quality product. That's what's important! Quality pleases you, Crom... so grant me one request. Grant me more coins! And if you do not listen to my review, then to HELL with you!
(Seriously, have I mentioned how amazing these coins are yet? 10 out of 10, WILL buy again!)
