Full Moon Silver Coin
☾ Pluck the Moon out of the sky ☾
This coin of Earth's Moon features a geographically (technically it's selenographically) correct 136,794,240:1 scale design of the surface texture of both its near and far side. A great worry coin, gift, or reminder coin.
- Struck in solid 999 fine silver
- Expert patina to highlight the engraving
- The 1" coin weighs 1/4 oz .999 silver
- The 1.5" coin is 1 oz of .999 silver
- broadstruck for a rounded edge
- 999 FS stamped on the edge
- archival packaging comes with a description of the coin and Moon Facts!
The coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques.

This piece is a fine example of the silverwork that SPM is capable of doing on an ongoing basis. A well-crafted and detailed piece, add it to your collection.
This is a delightful little gift for fans of the moon.
I got the super moon and full moon!
This was a wonderful experience I found your website by an accident I was searching for coins I will definitely be checking and order again
At a price point of $60 for a one ounce silver round when silver spot is around $20 an ounce, this is obviously a boutique collectible, rather than anything you would want to stack as bullion. That said, the moonscape artwork is very well crafted, and I am happy with the purchase.
The one ounce silver round comes in an elaborate envelope, with COA, and a vinyl "flip". This round fits perfectly inside the same Air-Tite 40.6mm capsule that is used for American Silver Eagle coins, and, at $60, IMO, the Air-Tite capsule should be included.
But anyway. If you want to pay 3x spot, as I did, for this round, you can afford an extra $1 for an Air-Tite.
