THE SHIRE™ Silver Farthing Post Earrings
May tiny silver Farthings adorn your ears
These tiny coins depict trees of The Shire and a Tengwar symbol on the reverse to symbolize which Farthing of The Shire it represents. The coins are struck in pure .999 silver and are soldered onto a .999 silver post to be worn in the ear. Choose between Pine, Elm, Willow, and Oak variants. Or choose All 4 Trees to get one earring from each variant
(4 total earrings) to mix and match them together.
The coins in this set from the world of J. R. R. Tolkien are struck from solid silver, measure 1 cm in diameter, and weigh 0.5 grams. Coin artwork by Greg Franck-Weiby.
The set contains coins treated to look as if they have been handled and circulated within their world. This process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science. Coloring and patinas will vary. No two sets are exactly the same! Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. A colorful description is included with history, translations, and facts about the coins.
