The Lord of Mordor™ sees all

  • 7 grams of 35% silver
  • .9 in diameter

Used by the minions of Sauron within Mordor, which also known as Orodruin. The Eye of Sauron depicts a crude eye surrounded by runes meaning "OBEY MORDOR". On the reverse, the text "ORODRUIN" surrounds an image of the nefarious mountain.

While normally found struck in iron, this unique version of the coin is made from a debased form of silver. The alloy only contains 35% silver, the rest is comprised of copper and a small amount of Manganese.

Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.
