Happy Pride Month from Shire Post Mint! When we opened the shop, one of our main goals was to create a safe and welcoming place for everyone who comes through our doors. We affirm queer/trans/gender nonconforming persons and are proud to provide an environment supportive of the LGBTQI+ community. We love our wonderfully diverse community of customers, friends, coworkers, and partners. This month, and every month, we strive to build a better and more inclusive environment for all.

The NWA Women's Shelter helps those in NWA who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual abuse, or sex trafficking. They provide safe shelter, legal advocacy, counseling support, rehousing, preventative education, and other resources for domestic violence and sexual abuse survivors through the recovery process and ease their burdens. Their hotline number is 479-246-9999 — 1-800-775-9011

Lucie's Place Transitional Living Program is a long-term home for homeless LGBTQI+ young adults in Central Arkansas between 18-25. Residents learn the skills, savings, and resources necessary to move onto a life of independence. 

Cocoon Collective provides safe spaces, advocacy, and resources for LGBTQIAA+ teens and young adults in Northwest Arkansas, through a housing-first model. They provide housing scholarships, housewares, groceries, financial assistance with HRT, mentoring, case management, sex education, career guidance, free rides to therapy and medical appointments, transition closet and free binders.
