Black Skull of Crom Coin
Crom, Count the Dead!
This blackened coin was made to pay homage to the Cimmerian diety, Crom, whose chief function is to count the dead in battle. Crom watches and judges all, and it may be better to avoid his attention, as he likely brings trouble and doom. The use of Crom's name as a curse identifies Conan as a Cimmerian. The obverse of this coin bears a skull, while the reverse depicts a stylized vulture and the inscription, "Crom Counts the Dead" inscribed in Icelandic Elder Futhark runes.

The product is treated to look as if it has been handled and circulated. This process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science, coloring and patinas will vary. No two are exactly the same! Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. A colorful description is included with history and facts about the coins.

If Crom actually had an emblem or marking, this coin would definitely do the trick for the grim and gloomy god.
I am a big fan of Conan. The coin is bad ass and unique.
Black Skull of Crom Coin
I got this and several skull featured coins and they are heavy, quality struck coins with old world look and feel and craftsmanship. Loving these locally mined and struck coins as collectables, conversation starters, and worry coins/decision makers.
I'll be honest... wasn't quite sure what to expect, but since I got a sizeable discount by backing a loosely-associated Robert E. Howard / Conan-themed Kickstarter, I thought what the heck. Quality of the coins is great. They look and feel great and make a nice addition to my collection of geek-o-belia, but the entire unpackaging experience was so unexpectedly cool - from the hand addressed envelope to the "coin collector-style" packaging, you can tell there is genuine pride here. Bravo! I'll be a future customer for sure. :)
