FAQs

What size are your coins?

It can be tough to get a sense of how our coins feel over the internet. Therefore, on each product listing we've included a reference image comparing each coins size to a US quarter and a 1 Euro coin. We hope this helps. If you still have questions, shoot us a message on Facebook, or email us at info@shirepost.com

Do you ship to my country?

In general, yes! Due to issues in the past, we unfortunately can no longer ship to India or China. We will ship to Mexico and countries in South America, but we have sometimes had issues there as well. You probably know your country's postal system best, so be sure to include any special instructions with your order and we'll do our best to comply.

We do ask that you include a romanized version of your address if you live in a country that uses a different writing system (Russia, most Asian countries). Our packages have to get out of the USA first!

All international orders are sold with the terms DAP (Delivered At Place). You are responsible for any duties and taxes required for the shipment's entry into your country. Our carriers may require you to pay taxes and fees related to importation and customs brokerage of your shipment. For more information, please contact USPS.

Can I change something about my order?

Email us at info@shirepost.com as soon as possible and we'll see what we can do.

How do you make your coins?

There are many techniques being used to make coins today, but at Shire Post Mint we make coins much like they were made in the 1800s and early 1900s. Unlike some other manufacturers, we do not use techniques like laser cutting, spin casting, plating, or enameling. Check out our How a Fantasy Coin is Made blog post for a more in-depth look at our unique process.

Can you make a coin for me?

Yes! Prices start around $500 for engraving plus a per coin price which varies with size/weight/metal. Email us at info@shirepost.com with any information you have: desired coin size, amount of coins to be minted, and 2D coin art to get a precise quote. Our engraving is done by hand and coins are struck one at a time in pure metals and can come with a variety of finishes and packaging options.

Can I sell Shire Post Mint products at my retail store?

Yes! Email sales@shirepost.com for retail and wholesale options.
