Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.

A beautiful looking coin that perfectly captures my daughter's (and my) passion for reading. The best part is, the chapter on the coin is taken directly from Alice in Wonderland. The added details and wax stamps on the envelopes help to complete this unique gift.
I bought this as a gift for my daughter who loves reading before bed, and she absolutely loves it! She uses it every night. It comes in mystical personalized packaging perfectly sealed with a wax stamp. The coin itself is great quality and a perfect size. Highly recommend, expectations exceeded. Bonus: I love that part of the purchase gets donated to a library! Great company. My daughter asked for more coins!

I hardly know where to start. The coin itself is quite a piece of art! The detailing is remarkable. It is a solid coin, feels good in my hand. It will sit on my nightstand on my to read book pile!
Speaking of works of art... Your packaging was incredible! Opening the outer plastic package, meh... But from that point forward?? It was so perfect! Every step, every detail you put into the packaging is incredible! I am not going to ruin it for others with spoilers.
But it has left me with one regret! I purchased 3 coins. The other two are intended for close friends. And they will get their coins, but they will miss the story-perfect packaging.
So for anyone planning on purchasing coins for multiple people - you simply must order them separately. The experience of opening the package is every bit as wonderful as the coin itself.
