Rivendell™ Golden Moon
A Golden Moon of Rivendell
This unique Elvish coin from Rivendell, or Imladris in Sindarin, is shaped like a crescent moon. It depicts the Rivendell valley, flanked by waterfalls, containing the ancient trees of silver and gold and the three Silmarils, represented as stars. The text in Tengwar translates from Sindarin to "Elrond Peredhil, Lord of Rivendell, The Last Homely House East of the Sea" and includes the date, TA 2941, the year that Thorin and Company meet Elrond at Rivendell before continuing on to The Lonely Mountain.
This Rivendell™ Golden Moon from the world of J. R. R. Tolkien is struck from solid Brass, measures 3.17 cm in diameter, and weighs about 6.3 grams. Includes a 30" antique bronze cable chain with clasp. Coin artwork by Dylan Craig and Woody Maringer.
Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. A colorful description is included with history, translations, and facts about the coins.

Purchased several of the copper hooks and gold Rivendell coin, as always blown away by the quality and sheer amount of love and passion that goes into every piece. Not just the coin itself which is beautiful and going to be a great gift for a friend who loves LotR, but all the details are just a joy to find.
Being an Elf who loves Lord Elrond the beautiful coin is stunning and I wear it every day to have the lord of Rivendell with me always
Beyond the appealing shape, rounded edge, and elegant yet simple design; it is too much fun to place a set of 3 on a table and simply enjoy playing with the moon shapes and how they fit together.
I purchased this coin through the add-ons for a Kickstarter project and I must say it is my absolute favourite from the Middle Earth collection. Once again Shire Post Mint delivers an epic coin worthy of the Tolkien legacy.
