The coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques.

Wow what a beautiful coin .
The Shire comes through again with a beautiful Moon.
At first, I wasn't a fan of the "novelty" color of this moon. However, the hefty 1.5" coin has an alluring pop of color that really is lovely.
Edges on light side of moon are smoothed, looking almost worn, not well defined.
If you would like an exchange or return, feel free to contact us. Unfortunately Niobium is a tough metal (literally!) to strike in so some of the subtle details don't strike up as well compared to softer metals like silver and copper.
Everything I’ve purchased from this company has been excellent quality. The blurple moon coin is no exception. It is even more gorgeous in person. Absolutely love it!
