Aztec Sun Stone Wax Seal Coin
Decorate your letters with an artifact
This wax seal coin is engraved after the Aztec Sun Stone, a representation of the five eras of the sun from Aztec mythology. After the Spanish conquest, the monolithic sculpture was buried in the Zócalo, the main square of Mexico City. It was rediscovered on 17, December 1790 during repairs on the Mexico City Cathedral.
Each Sun Stone Wax Seal coin comes in its own wax-sealed packaging with facts about the art of the Sun Stone, a substantial artifact that gives us a better understanding of the historically significant Aztec peoples.
- Magnetic Steel Wax Seal Coin
- 1" (2.5 cm) diameter
- Magnetic handle and glue are not included.
Wax Seal Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques.

First off, I wish that SPM had custom wax seals or at least just fancy letter wax seals (vs just the Zodiac ones). I want to buy more from them due to their packaging alone. They sent me a letter sealed with their wax seal and a beautiful handwritten cover of my first name. I absolutely adore them and cannot wait to buy from them again.
The Aztec coin is really intricate and neat. It's a great flair whenever I'm sealing any envelope, it adds a level of sophistication and mystique.
Nice quality impression. Good craftsmanship.
