Balon Greyjoy Copper Star

$9.00 $14.00

King of Salt and Rock

Balon Greyjoy, father of Theon and Asha, declared himself King of the Iron Islands during the War of the Five Kings. As an Iron Islander, Balon followed the Old Ways of taking property by force, so this coin was probably minted on top old coinage raided from the mainland. This heavy copper coin features a youthful Balon sporting a breastplate with the Kraken sigil of House Greyjoy. On the reverse is a reaver of the Iron Fleet that Balon constructed.

  • Solid copper, 12.8 grams

  • 1 in (2.6 cm) diameter

Balon star

Really gorgeous design. The wide rim is very unique and looks great. Balon looks like a Roman general ready for battle and the ship fits right in with the iron islands.
