Extremely Lucky Coin | 4 Leaf Clover
Need a lot of luck?
An extreme amount of luck, perhaps? This one-of-a-kind coin will have just enough! These Extremely Lucky Coins are meticulously crafted to concentrate as much luck as possible into the palm of your hand. A collection of charms are encased in a clear resin and rung with solid copper:
- A real four-leaf clover, found and hand-picked by our friends and employees! Four-leaf clovers have a historical association with good fortune. Popular folklore assigns attributes such as hope, love, faith and luck to each leaf, and even tells of an ancient connection to fae legend. Their rarity makes them fun to search for, and-when densely packed-they create the perfect shelter for our pollinator friends!
- A horseshoe charm made from solid bronze! Horseshoes have been forged for centuries to protect horses' hooves, but have been used in some cultures as protective talismans against mischievous spirits and ill intent.
- A wheat penny plucked from somewhere between 1909 and 1958. Designed by engraver and sculptor Victor D. Brenner, wheat pennies were originally minted in 1909 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's birthday. One side features his profile, and the other shows two sheaves of wheat to symbolize prosperity and growth. No longer in circulation, the wheat penny is beloved among coin collectors for its historical significance, and, legend says, should you come across one heads up, you might be in for a lucky day!
- A mercury dime, struck between 1916 and 1945. Lady Liberty's winged profile has been mistaken for the Greek god Hermes so often, that the silver mercury dime has been culturally imbued with his mythological connection to crossroads, safe travels, and hospitality.
- One raw emerald, a gemstone treasured all over the world. Many emerald mining practices originated in Ancient Egypt, where they were believed to protect wearers from evil spirits.
- One faceted cubic zirconia (2.25 mm), a striking, crystalline chip made from zirconium oxide. Some associate it with clarity of thought and emotional balance. We like the sparkle!
