Misfit Copper Icosahedron
Beautifully miscast
- Metal: Pure Copper
- Diameter: About 2 in (varies due to imperfections)
- Weight: About 6.50 g (varies due to imperfections)
These are the castaways, the underdogs, the ones who don't conform to the mold. They've got some things wrong with them, but that's okay! We love them just the same. Each Icosahedron will come pre-dinged, slightly pinched, and positively imperfect. So drop them all you like!
Just kidding, do not do this, they are quite heavy.
Every cast object will arrive with a unique flaw all its own, making it yours, and yours only!
We cast these large D20s in house using the pure copper left over from minting our coins. This process ensures the metal's purity, and helps us make sure that no excess material goes to waste. Once we use up our leftover copper, these will go out of stock until we have enough material saved to make another batch.
The Copper Icosahedron can be used in a variety of ways: RPG prop, desk toy, meditation tool, paperweight, gift it to your favorite dragon, and more!

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.
We collaborate with many artists to create our coins. Learn more about our artists.
