Silver Beaver Pin
From the Vault
Put a beaver on it!
Tom made this colony of beavers 20 years ago, because the tooling was too perfect to waste!
The origin story of these little guys is a huge question mark, which is why, of course, we had to get involved. This mysterious antique tooling (estimated ca. 1950-1960) punched little metal beavers into this die for...some reason! We decided that reason should be up to you! These beavers can tastefully adorn your shirt fronts, tote bags, lapels, beaver backpacks...wherever you can stick something sharp!
Their true, antique forms may be floating around out there somewhere, but to tell you the truth, we haven't looked too hard.

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.
We collaborate with many artists to create our coins. Learn more about our artists.
