THICK Iron Coin of the Faceless Man

Valar Morghulis. All Men Must Die.

  • Twice as thick as the normal Iron Coin of the Faceless Man
  • 10 grams iron, blackened and waxed
  • 1 in. (2.7 cm) diameter

This is a double-thick version of the coin given to Arya Stark by the mysterious assassin Jaqen H'ghar. It is not a coin for buying things, but rather denotes association with the organization of the Faceless Men. Worshippers of the Many-Faced God, the Faceless Men are a guild of assassins from the Free City of Braavos who see themselves as servants of death who will bestow the gift of death as an end to suffering. Their House of Black and White contains a shrine to various incarnations of the Many-Faced God, including the Black Goat of Qohor and the Stranger within the Faith of the Seven. The obverse of the coin depicts a hooded figure with an indistinct face. Depending on the light, he may seem to change in appearance. Inscriptions on reverse show our VDVM monogram in the center, surrounded by the words, Valar Morghulis, Valar Dohaeris: All men must die, all men must serve.

A man is delighted by the coin.

I was quite thrilled once it dropped on my palm. Its weight is more than satisfying and gives you the sense of holding an ancient talisman. I wish it had a slightly more irregular shape like the coin Jaqen gave Arya but I know that it's a tiresome and pricy process to manufacture a die that gives irregular shape. Also, try not to drop it on a hard surface because since it's made of pure iron, it could be scratched or damaged slightly but easily. All in all, the coin certainly worths killing for!

I'm glad you like it! Our coin definitely differs in a lot of ways from the screen version, but our design actually predates the show! We'll keep your feedback in mind when designing future coins.

Realistic quality coins

I highly recommend Shire Post Mint products and service. The coins are realistic and a nice display in the glass cabin of an enthusiastic collector or a fan-boy/fan-girl. I bought some of the Game of Thrones (GOT) coins in large quantity. I am a big GOT fan, own the books, the show in a collection blue rays, own the board game, complete set of the LCG game(that utilizes coins such as these), lot of swags such as swords, necklaces, three crowns, handmade tokens of the houses, 3D puzzles, 3D models of the cities of Westeros and Essos, map marker sigils such as from the war-rooms in the shows. I thought about it for 4 years to buy the coins, I wasn’t sure but believe me, I have decided to buy all the other coins from the same brand. It’s totally every dollar worth and a must own for a real GOT fan.

Love it!

Very fast shipping, love the packaging, the coin is perfect for Game of Thrones fans and Cosplayers of the show. I originally purchased the coin as a gift and loved it so much, I bought another for myself.

Valar Morghulis, Bitches!

Love this stamped iron coin! I gave one to my brother and sister in case they ever need to summon Jaqen H'ghar. With this licensed coin, all they have to do is present the coin to a man from Braavos.

Safe travels! :D
