Elvish Silver Leaf of Winter Necklace

A Silver Winter Leaf of HOLLIN™

Also known as Eregion (meaning Land of the Holly in Sindarin), Hollin was an Elven Realm of the Ñoldorin Elves during the Second Age. It was located near the West Gate of Moria, or Khazad-dûm. These coins were made by the Ñoldorin Elves while under the rule of Celebrimbor, the great Elven-smith and forger of the Rings of Power. Hollin was later destroyed during the War of the Elves and Sauron.

The Tengwar side translates from Sindarin:

“Star-kindler, O Elbereth! White shining slants down like the Silmarils from the heavens - the radiance of the star-host.”
On the reverse, in Dwarf Runes (Angerthas Moria):
“Under Celebrimbor, lord of Eregion Tegilbor made me in the eleventieth year of the third yen.”
The bilingual inscriptions indicate the Elves and Dwarves in this region maintained amicable relations and traded freely for years during the Second Age. For many Elves, Silver is more valuable even than Gold.

A shiny leaf for a colder winter

This silver leaf on it's silvery chain has not tarnished cos it's invisibly coated, used it for daily wear, no colour change :) but it's great looking!
Pic 1 indoor sunlight,
Pic 2 lamplight, silver quarter 1" moon from SPM too (phase and season match)

This necklace is absolutely wonderful!

Very pretty and love the long chain, only disappointment was the leaf imprint has a lot of metal surrounding it unevenly like it wasn't pressed correctly or something.

Lovely leaf

The leaf is lovely. It is a nice moderate size and all the engraving is clear and crisp. The long chain is a nice bonus as most places skimp out with the shortest thinnest chain possible.

Thanks for the review! It's great to hear feedback about our chains too :)

Lovely Leaf

A lovely way to wear silver, in a leaf shape! The design is lightly etched and the leaf has just the right amount of weight to make it enjoyable to wear.
